We begin the second half of our journey in Floyd, Virginia, at Red Rooster Coffee. Our next stop is Methodical Coffee, a 2015 startup that is “on a mission to expand minds, broaden palates, and build relationships through coffee.” With three locations around the area, they’ve done just that. Their original Downtown location allows you to grab a coffee and experience the city first-hand within walking distance of the shop.

Portrait is a catalyst for new representation and growth in the coffee industry. Their shop features open spaces, welcoming vibes, and deliciously crafted coffees.

Sip This: Costa Rica Aquiares Red Honey
Red Honey processed, where the outer skin of the coffee cherry is removed, and the beans are dried and infused with remaining natural sugars. Portrait is left with a coffee bean that has a complex flavor profile. The roasted result brings out unique peach, raspberry, and caramel notes in the cup.
